Trinidad-Las Animas County Economic Development, Inc. was established in May of 1983, and with over 25 years of economic enhancement activity and knowledge, our Board of Directors and staff work to offer new and existing businesses the opportunity to grow to their fullest potential.
Originally titled Trinidad-Las Animas County Community Resources, Inc., the organization underwent a transition, and restructured itself as Trinidad-Las Animas County Economic Development, Inc. in the late 90s. With this shift, the organization also shifted its gears towards working with all businesses in capacity building, offering business assistance classes; as well as organizing finance and business start-up services to assist new and existing businesses in retention and expansion.
Our staff works closely with our Board of Directors and other area agencies, such as the Trinidad/Las Animas County Chamber of Commerce, the Trinidad Community Foundation, the City of Trinidad Tourism Board, in order to offer the highest quality of services available in Southern Colorado.
